Czech Fire Polished Beads have been made using the technique of cutting and heat-polishing glass since the 17th century. The quality of Czech fire polished beads is immediately recognisable by the stability of shapes and sizes, the consistency of the colour shades and resistance of the coatings.
The beads are first pressed from glass rods in a metal mould and then the facettes are cut and finally heated so that they get the smooth look. Our beads have the world’s widest combination of sizes, shapes, colours, coatings and finishes. Round beads from 2mm (the “true” size) up to 20mm.
